When you are going to be in Canakkale, you are going to often hear about the Canakkale Marine because it’s such a fascinating attraction.
The natural charm of the ferries and boats in the area will add to its splendor. We were in awe of the area and how the yachts would be settled in the water with the sun shimmering in the background. You are not going to get to see this type of sight in other parts of Turkey as easily as you do here!
We took the time to watch as the boats would float by and it was quite the sight.
We found this to be a nice spot to just bring a coffee and look out at the boats because on a good day, it’s outstanding. They have a pier that is set up and you can often walk around the area or just watch the ships go by.
The natural history of Turkey is on full display when you are in Canakkale and that’s what’s going to draw you in.
You are going to be amazed at the exhibits and artifacts that are readily available at the local archaeological museum. They have spread these exhibits throughout the museum to make it a worthwhile experience as you explore every inch of the place.
It’s important to note that the Ottoman Empire was an integral part of its history. This means artifacts from their time are going to be readily accessible here and you are going to get to see them out in the open as you walk through the museum.
