When you are living in Florida, it’s common to want to find good deals.
We have always wanted to make sure to find a cost-effective way of shopping and that includes going to good thrift stores in South Florida.
Tourists might stay at Florida resorts, but the locals are going to be staying in the cities. This is why we want to take the time to look at the best thrift shops in South Florida.
We have taken the time to go around and explore these thrift stores in South Florida to see which ones are good and which ones disappointed us.
Here is our list of the best South Florida thrift stores.
Top Thrift Stores In South Florida
Bargain Box Thrift Shop
Bargain Box Thrift Shop is the real deal.
We were impressed with their collection because they have done a wonderful job of offering a wide array of items instead of having a more scattered approach. This does matter to those who are going to be spending their hard-earned money at the store.
Along with this, they have done a good job of organizing the store and making sure it feels crisp. There is a sense of quality in the thrift store that stands out.
We liked the staff and the collection of clothing items was also excellent.
Dragonfly Thrift Boutique
Dragonfly Thrift Boutique is a wonderful location and one that is running as a non-profit extension for a local charity organization.
We appreciated this element because it also elevates the way the thrift store is being run. For the most part, it was a simpler store with an emphasis on putting out the items without throwing them around or keeping them unorganized.
This is all we ask when it comes to the top thrift stores in Florida, which is why this one is on the list.
The parking is free and it’s easy to get what you want. We enjoyed our time here.
Out of the Closet
Out of the Closet is a unique thrift store compared to the others we went to.
A lot of thrift stores tend to have branded items but it’s rare to get anything that’s going to stand out. Out of the Closet is unlike those thrift stores because it does have branded items and quite a few of them too.
We were impressed by how vast the collection was including their customer service. We were able to find several high-quality branded items at good prices.
Sir Thrifty is more of a specialized thrift store, which means it’s not going to have all of the basic items you would expect from a location such as this.
However, we appreciated the customer service and how simple the location is. It gets straight to the point and you are going to love it when you are looking for specialized items that are hard to find anywhere else.
This includes items such as vinyl records. They have a huge collection and if you are on the hunt for a specific record, you might be able to get it here!
Red, White, and Blue Thrift Store
For a lot of people, this is the number one thrift shop in South Florida and we understand why this is the case!
It’s such a remarkable thrift store with a management team that is on top of things. It is busy and it is organized.
They do a lot of good work here and this is why you are going to end up finding items that are impossible to locate elsewhere at these prices. The collection is impressive because they continue to run a good deal throughout the week and you can end up finding hidden gems here.
We always recommend spending a few hours here and only going on the weekdays. Otherwise, it’s going to take a few hours to get through the shop!
This & That Shop
This is a straightforward thrift shop and ends quickly in terms of its size from the front entrance.
This means you are going to be walking in looking for a specific item whether it’s a toy or a vinyl record. We were not able to find other items in the shop and nor does it advertise to sell those shops here.
For the most part, it’s a charming little thrift store that does its specialty well. You are going to like what you end up getting here.
Peachtree is world-class when it comes to offering beautiful merchandise that’s going to take your breath away and is going to elevate your experience when it comes to finding hidden gems.
When we were walking through this store, we were amazed at the uniqueness of the items.
The clothing items are great and you can find unique and well-priced items. The one thing we recommend a person to do is to be patient. You are going to walk through, look at the different items, and then find what you are looking for.
Lotus House is simply outstanding.
We would put it as one of the most elegant thrift stores on this list. It’s classy, well-done, and just has the type of customer service you are going to want when you enter through the front door.
The reason for this has to do with the higher prices. You are going to be getting newer items when you come here and almost everything is going to be in decent condition. This value is going to be paid for through higher prices.
If you can accept this, you are going to like Lotus House.
The last thrift store on this list is going to be the gorgeous Fly Boutique.
Fly Boutique is a world-class location that is appreciated for its beauty. You are going to enjoy the various items that you get to see here including the furniture, clothing, and accessories.
It’s essential to make sure you are getting to enjoy beautiful items that are going to shine when you are looking to make the most of your thrifting experience. We were impressed at how clean it was even though there were so many items to dig through.
