We noticed the architecture and took the time to sit on the sand at the local beach too. There is so much vibrance in the area and that’s what makes it fun to be in. If you are lucky, you are also going to be entertained by the local performers who end up performing throughout the year.
Otherwise, just walking around is going to be a lot of fun.
Scala dei Turchi
Scala dei Turchi is world-class and it is a specifically designed tourist spot known as the Turkish Staircase.
This is fascinating because it’s situated close to two beaches.
The staircase is wonderful as it is made from limestone and is aesthetically pleasing. The overall joy of being able to see it in person is outstanding and we do recommend taking the time to check it out.
Acireale is known for being a great option when it is time to have a bit of fun.
You are going to see the life of the city when you are here.
Acireale is a festive place where you are going to see people dancing and having a good time. This includes people coming out and wearing masks/costumes to add to the overall vibe of the place.
If you come at the right time in the winter, the party is going to be outstanding!
Noto is one of the more charming villages in Sicily.
We love going to this area because it’s such a unique, vibrant place with traditional Italian roots. A lot of people want to experience this and mingle with the locals in a way that is not always possible in a place such as Rome or Milan.
We realized this and knew Noto was a must.
Noto is great because the food is wonderful and it’s so much fun to be here.
There are some Greek-based elements within Sicily and that’s when you are going to want to check out the famous Taormina Amphitheater.
This particular amphitheater is the real deal.
It’s gorgeous and it is always fun to be here. You are going to get to walk around exploring the amphitheater and also learn more about the charming shops that are littered around the area. It’s great to do a bit of shopping while you are here and just take in the ambiance.
Catania is a good place if you are a foodie.
We love eating good Italian food and this is one place where you are going to have access to quite a few quality eateries in one place. Take the time to choose from all of the well-reviewed restaurants in the region and pick the one that works for you.
It’s appealing because they care about the food they offer. You are going to love it here as a hungry tourist.
Siracusa is a renowned town in Italy.
